Overview

As Access & Pricing Strategy Lead, you will shape global payer, access, and pricing strategies to maximize patient access and long-term portfolio value. You’ll partner with Asset Payer Heads and work across HEOR, RWE, Policy, and Commercial teams in a complex global environment. The role emphasizes influence over formal authority to drive strategic decisions and deliverables that support asset success throughout the lifecycle. This is a pivotal position at the intersection of payer strategy, market access, evidence, and pricing within a global, hybrid-working culture.

Responsibilities

  • Co-create global payer, access, and pricing strategies with Asset Payer Heads
  • Develop and execute payer strategies, evidence plans, pricing approaches, and global deliverables
  • Identify payer risks and mitigation strategies to maximize asset potential
  • Oversee competitive evidence generation to support reimbursement objectives
  • Define global access strategies and clarify trade-offs and decision points
  • Lead strategic payer engagements and translate insights into recommendations
  • Present payer perspectives to leadership and governance forums
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Market Access, Pricing, HEOR, RWE, Policy, Commercial, and regions

Key requirements

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Business, or related discipline
  • Significant experience in market access, payer strategy, pricing, health economics, outcomes research, medical affairs, or related pharma functions
  • Strong understanding of payer evidence requirements and reimbursement processes
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in complex global matrices
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Experience leveraging analytics, digital tools, and AI-enabled insights
