Overview

In this role you will lead regional Health and Wellbeing contracts, driving high-performance delivery of lifestyle improvement programmes for families, children, young people and adults. You will coach Service Managers, build strong stakeholder relationships, and drive contract performance and growth. You will shape service delivery through improvements, governance, and safeguarding practices within a values-driven, contract-based environment. This is a chance to impact health outcomes at scale while working across multiple regional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contract performance and serve as the regional point of contact for Health Commissioning bodies and sub-contractors
  • Ensure contract compliance and deliver profitability targets
  • Lead the Health Operations team and develop staff to meet KPIs and contractual goals
  • Achieve placement and outcome targets across Boroughs via site KPIs
  • Uphold delivery model adherence and continuous improvement of customer journey
  • Ensure partner development and quality of service as per contractual agreements
  • Develop high-quality services, SOPs, and programme manuals
  • Collaborate with Clinical Governance, Quality and Compliance to monitor performance and plan improvements
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and practices are implemented
  • Drive colleague engagement and leadership to improve retention, attendance, and ER metrics
  • Lead business projects with support from the Operations Director
  • Promote honest, ethical, and transparent business practices
  • Engage with internal teams (MD, Operations Director, Health Leadership Team) and external partners (Commissioners, Local Authorities, Public Health, Community organisations)

Key requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Health Promotion, Public Health, Health & Social Policy, Social Sciences, or Community Development
  • Minimum 3 years in health or social care leadership/management
  • Experience in stakeholder management and relationship building
  • Proven delivery of programmes aligned with contracts and SLAs
  • Experience in financial management and P&L awareness
  • Risk analysis and mitigation experience
  • Experience in recruiting and developing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Proven report writing and policy documentation experience
  • Ability to develop performance measures and drive service improvements
  • Experience delivering health screening services is desirable
  • Willingness to travel within the area and UK
  • Stakeholder engagement
