Business Intelligence Engineer, Prime Video International – Finance Analytics

Overview

As a senior member of the Prime Video Finance Analytics team, you will deliver self-service analytics and reliable ETL/ELT workflows that support strategic decisions across content, finance, and international growth. You’ll partner with finance, content teams, and leadership to surface actionable insights and build scalable analytics infrastructure. Your work enables data-driven decisions that shape content selection and on-platform experiences at scale. This is a fast-paced, cross-functional role in a globally scaled service with a strong emphasis on best practices and impact.

Responsibilities

• Identify data needs with business, finance, and leadership groups to drive analytics requirements
• Generate concrete, actionable insights and recommendations for leadership
• Communicate analysis results clearly to peers and business partners
• Build mechanisms to surface learnings about the business
• Write quality code for data retrieval and analysis
• Set up and maintain self-service dashboards and infrastructure (e.g., dashboards)
• Lead large-scale data and analytical projects to scale Prime Video internationally and globally

Key requirements

• Experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
• Experience using SQL to pull data from databases or data warehouses
