Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of new medical devices across multiple specialisms
- Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, physics and other engineers to integrate subsystems
- Apply CAD, prototyping and hands-on fabrication to build functional mechanisms
- Work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with varying device types
- Support translation of concepts into manufacturable solutions in a regulated setting
- Contribute to risk assessment, verification and validation activities as part of product development
Key requirements
- Experience in the medical devices sector or other highly regulated environments
- Strong machine design capability and hands-on building of mechanisms
- Proficiency with CAD and prototyping workflows
- Degree in mechatronics, robotics, mechanical engineering or closely related discipline
- Ability to work across multiple device types and project portfolios
