Portfolio Manager – ABL

In this role you will manage a small, high-value Asset Based Lending portfolio across the UK, ensuring service excellence, retention and income generation while maintaining risk controls. You will work closely with clients at board level, translating the group’s growth ambitions into robust, transparent account management. Responsibilities

• Primary ownership of the client portfolio and its performance
• Deliver balanced client service, retention, income generation and risk management
• Maintain detailed operational and relationship excellence across accounts
• Provide proactive client service support and transparent account activity updates
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, precision and execution in day-to-day activities

Key requirements

• In-depth knowledge of commercial lending in the corporate space, ideally Asset Based Lending
• High level of financial acumen and ability to analyze complex credit situations
• Experience in developing and maintaining board-level relationship with clients
• Self-starter, highly motivated team player with growth mindset and alignment to risk philosophy
