Overview

In this role you will establish and lead the EMEA People Compliance function within the PlayStation business. You will partner with Legal, Privacy, and HR to translate regulatory changes into scalable policies and controls. You will drive governance, data privacy, and risk management across multiple European jurisdictions. You will work with cross-functional partners to improve processes and support a highly engaged, compliant employee experience. This is an opportunity to shape regional compliance capabilities in a globally integrated organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the EMEA People Compliance framework with governance, controls, ownership, and reporting
  • Translate regulatory changes into scalable policies and guidance with Employment Legal
  • Lead policy governance, change management, and capability-building for PX teams
  • Oversee Right to Work, immigration, and background screening processes; manage vendor relationships
  • Enhance system integrations with TA, IT, and tech teams for employee experience
  • Govern fixed-term employment policies across hiring, extensions, renewals, terminations
  • Lead data privacy governance for personnel files, retention, and audits across Workday/SharePoint
  • Coordinate regional risk assessments, controls, and remediation plans; support audits and SOX
  • Drive automation, dashboards, and continuous improvement; manage third-party providers and budgets
  • Lead UK & Ireland Leave of Absence governance with ER, Benefits, Payroll, and PX

Key requirements

  • 7+ years of HR or People compliance experience across multiple EMEA countries within a global framework
  • Strong knowledge of employment compliance, policy governance, regulatory change, risk and controls
  • Experience translating complex legal requirements into practical policies and controls
  • Knowledge of GDPR and employee data governance
  • Strong project management and data literacy; ability to use reporting to identify risks
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Legal, Privacy, HR and Technology
  • Judgment, discretion, initiative, and problem-solving to improve processes
  • People management experience
  • Experience with Workday, ServiceNow or similar HR/case management systems (preferred)
