In this role you will join a top-tier IP practice to handle non-contentious, transactional IP matters for high-profile clients. You’ll support licensing, assignments and collaboration agreements, while structuring IP ownership and guiding due diligence processes. Your work will span academia-industry collaborations and commercial deals, contributing to a market-leading practice. Responsibilities

• Advising on IP transactions (licensing, assignments, franchising)
• Structuring ownership and protection of IP assets
• Negotiating R&D and collaboration agreements across academia and industry
• Conducting intellectual property audits and due diligence
• Providing IP support for wider commercial and corporate deals

Key requirements

• Strong experience in non-contentious/transactional Intellectual Property work
• Qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales (SRA) or Scotland (Law Society of Scotland) with around 8 years’ PQE
• A commercial mindset and enthusiasm for helping clients turn ideas into commercial success
