Overview
In this role you will act as a strategic finance partner supporting senior leadership to drive commercial performance and informed decision-making. You will shape financial insights, budgeting, and KPI reporting to influence growth initiatives in a Leeds-based, hybrid environment. You collaborate with Directors and the leadership team to improve controls and report on contract profitability and project performance. This is a growth-focused opportunity in a well-established professional services organisation, offering visibility to senior leaders and real impact on the business trajectory. You will help steer long-term growth by delivering actionable financial analysis and robust planning.

Responsibilities
- Partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
- Produce meaningful financial analysis and commercial insights
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities
- Develop and enhance KPI reporting and management information
- Support contract profitability and project performance reviews
- Drive process improvements and financial controls
- Assist with longer-term growth initiatives and commercial projects
- Support and challenge operational leaders to maximise performance
Key requirements
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially focused with the ability to influence senior decision-makers
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling capabilities
- Experience in professional services, construction, project-based or commercially driven environments (advantageous)
