Responsibilities

• Shape and implement procurement strategies and pipelines for major works or services
• Lead or develop a small procurement team, or take a delivery-focused procurement lead role
• Influence senior stakeholders and provide expert commercial advice
• Manage and deliver high-value, complex procurements and frameworks
• Ensure value for money and timely, compliant delivery within a regulated environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across the business to align procurement with strategic goals

Key requirements

• Strong background in strategic procurement across major works or services
• Proven experience delivering high-value and complex procurements
• Solid knowledge of public procurement regulations, particularly Utilities Regulations
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies beyond transactional buying
• Experience working within a regulated environment
