Residential Property Conveyancer/Legal Executive

Overview

In this role you will join a Lexcel and CQS-accredited law firm’s national residential property team in Harrow to manage a varied caseload. You will handle sales, purchases, remortgages and related matters, guided by strong local market knowledge. You’ll support and train conveyancing assistants while building solid client relationships in the local area. This opportunity lets you contribute to a high‑performing department and shape how residential transactions are delivered at scale. You will work with cross‑department referrals and provide cover for other offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage conveyancing matters from instruction to post‑completion
• Handle residential sales and purchases
• Manage remortgage and equity release transactions
• Review titles for freehold and leasehold properties
• Manage transfers of equity and matrimonial transfers
• Provide guidance and training to conveyancing assistants
• Build and maintain client relationships within the local area
• Cross‑refer clients to other departments where appropriate
• Apply strong knowledge of the local property market
• Manage varied residential property caseload efficiently and accurately
• Provide cover for other offices when required

Key requirements

• ideally 5+ years PQE (Solicitor, CLC or CILEX)
• confident managing a full caseload independently
