As a Safety Engineer within the UK Defence, Nuclear and Marine sector, you will deliver high-quality safety consultancy across complex submarine and defence programmes. You will work hybrid, contributing to critical infrastructure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering safety cases and safety documentation
- Facilitating HAZID workshops and risk assessments
- Supporting Defence Nuclear and Submarine programmes
- Advising clients on safety regulations and compliance
- Conducting hazard and risk analysis activities
- Supporting delivery of multiple technical projects
- Building strong customer and stakeholder relationships
Key requirements
- Previous experience in an engineering consultancy environment
- Experience supporting UK Submarine or Defence programmes
- Knowledge of Defence Safety Authority (DSA), Defence Nuclear Safety Regulations, Naval Authority Certification
- Experience producing safety artefacts: HAZID, risk assessments, safety case development
- Ability to manage and deliver complex technical projects
- Strong communication and technical writing
- Professional and adaptable approach
- Ability to work independently and within flexible teams
