Overview

In this role you join a respected regional law firm to handle a broad residential conveyancing caseload and contribute to the growth of the Property department. You will work within a busy team at either Midsomer Norton or Keynsham, managing a mix of freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and Help to Buy transactions. You’ll engage directly with clients, maintain strong relationships, and support departmental development with a proactive approach. The opportunity combines varied work, client contact, and the chance to build expertise in a growing practice with a local footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Manage own residential property caseload with minimal supervision
  • Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Process remortgages and Help to Buy transactions
  • Contribute to development and growth of the Property department
  • Provide excellent client care and relationship management

Key requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Conveyancer
  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience in residential property
  • Experience with freehold/leasehold transactions, remortgages, Help to Buy
