DevSecOps Software Engineering Expert

Overview

In this role you will lead DevSecOps services to embed security and operational excellence across Citi’s technology stack. You will steer secure development practices, contribute to open-source security projects, and improve vulnerability remediation. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll shape tooling and platforms to reduce developer effort while elevating security standards. This is a chance to influence global finance technology at scale and mentor a strong technical team.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for DevSecOps services and tooling
• Drive adoption of secure engineering practices across teams
• Contribute to and maintain open-source security software for vulnerability remediation
• Leverage deep DevSecOps, modern frameworks, and AI-enabled development tools
• Enhance QA automation and optimize infrastructure to improve security and reliability

Key requirements

• Expert knowledge of Java, Spring, and related technologies
• Expert knowledge in VA, SAST and CVM domains
• Expert knowledge in DevOps / DevSecOps domains
• Open-source software contribution or maintenance experience
• Proficiency in evaluating and benchmarking AI agent skills
• Proven track record leading technically strong teams on complex architectures
