Cyber Security Engineer

Overview

In this role you will join a multi-disciplinary security team to protect clients through threat detection, vulnerability management, and security tooling. You will lead containment and remediation for complex incidents and help enhance security across diverse environments, including cloud platforms. You will develop integrations and explore AI-driven capabilities to boost detection and response, while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver threat detection and response across client environments
• Conduct vulnerability scanning and compliance checks
• Perform dark web monitoring and social engineering assessments
• Produce security reports and findings for multiple stakeholders
• Act as technical escalation point for complex security incidents and lead containment/remediation
• Develop and maintain security tooling and integrations; support AI-driven capabilities
• Ensure effective incident resolution and ongoing security posture improvements
• Stay updated on emerging threats and threat actors to inform defenses

Key requirements

• Strong technical expertise in security, network and infrastructure technologies
• Experience with secure Azure/AWS cloud environments, Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Sentinel
• Experience building and optimizing security platforms and tooling
• Proven ability to drive security automation using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of social engineering, phishing threats and security best practices
• Microsoft certifications and AI/ML qualifications are advantageous
