Overview
In this Accounts Manager role, you will lead a portfolio of clients within a market-leading audit and advisory firm. You’ll be the main contact, ensuring high-quality accounting support and proactive guidance on accounting, tax and financial matters. You will oversee year-end accounting processes, tax and VAT returns, and ensure accuracy and compliance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain growth and exceptional client service, shaping the firm’s regional offering in the Northwest.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients and serve as primary contact
- Provide accounting, tax and financial guidance to clients
- Oversee preparation of annual accounts
- Oversee tax and VAT returns for clients
- Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance in accounting processes
- Foster strong client relationships and day-to-day accounting oversight
Key requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified or close to qualification; or qualified by experience
