Overview
In this role you will lead the governance function for a UK-wide not-for-profit organisation, driving governance, risk and assurance to support robust decision-making. You will partner with the Board and senior leadership to strengthen policies, controls and data protection, and embed organisation-wide frameworks. You will shape audit and assurance activity and ensure continuous improvement in risk management. Responsibilities
- Lead the governance function and support Board and Committee activity
- Oversee compliance and data protection obligations
- Develop organisation-wide governance, risk and assurance processes
- Strengthen audit and assurance activity and maintain risk frameworks
- Ensure policies and controls remain effective and compliant
Key requirements
- Experience as a governance professional in regulated or non-for-profit environments
- Proven ability to advise Boards and Committees
- Designing and embedding governance, risk and assurance frameworks at organisational level
- Expertise in internal audit, risk management and compliance
- Experience overseeing risk registers and policy management
- CGI qualification or equivalent experience
