Overview
In this role you will manage a Court of Protection welfare caseload for a leading national law firm, safeguarding the rights of vulnerable adults. You will work within the Public Law & Human Rights team to handle sensitive health, care and autonomy decisions, while developing the team and supporting junior colleagues. You will engage directly with clients with empathy and clarity, and contribute to broader public law and human rights work. This is a role that combines meaningful litigation with a commitment to access to justice and collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Manage your own Court of Protection welfare caseload
- Represent clients in complex and sensitive disputes
- Supervise and support junior colleagues
- Help develop the team’s profile and strengthen relationships with partner organisations
- Work directly with vulnerable individuals, delivering advice with empathy and professionalism
- Contribute to wider public law and human rights matters

- Experience running own COP welfare matters
