Business Development Manager for Kount

Overview

As a Business Development Manager at Equifax, you will identify and pursue new opportunities across the EDS and Kount 360 product suite in the UK and EU. You’ll build and maintain relationships with merchants, payment processors, and industry partners, driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives. You will position our fraud and identity solutions at industry events and act as the face of the brand in key markets. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will shape agreements, ensure compliance, and share best practices to elevate the commercial organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute high-yield pipeline strategies to build a robust new business pipeline
• Maintain accurate CRM data and provide reliable forecasting
• Position regional fraud, API-driven payment strategies, and product messaging to differentiate solutions
• Collaborate with technical, legal, and product teams to structure complex commercial agreements and ensure regional data compliance
• Represent the company at trade shows and executive events as the brand’s face
• Drive operational excellence by sharing market-leading best practices across the organization

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• Robust experience in identity, fraud, and payment product ecosystem
• Track record of driving business growth and meeting revenue targets
• Strong understanding of the chargeback lifecycle and fraud prevention best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Exceptional oral and written communication with ability to engage diverse stakeholders
• Strong relationship-building across personality types
• Ability to multitask and manage concurrent pipeline projects in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of payment processing systems
• Experience with AI tools or automation (e.g., Google Gemini, Workspace Studio, NotebookLM)
• API-driven payment strategies
