Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a portfolio of Commercial Banking customers through long-term relationships
  • Develop deep understanding of customers’ businesses and provide tailored banking solutions
  • Act as trusted adviser across lending, deposits, treasury, and wider banking needs
  • Generate sustainable portfolio growth via proactive relationship management and business development
  • Attract new-to-bank customers and network with introducers and local business communities
  • Complete credit applications, annual reviews and lending assessments
  • Analyze financial information, monitor customer performance and manage credit risk
  • Collaborate with specialist teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes

Key requirements

  • Proven experience managing and growing customer relationships within Commercial Banking or Business Banking
  • Strong track record delivering commercial, customer and risk outcomes
  • Experience analyzing financial information and supporting lending decisions
  • Knowledge of commercial lending, credit risk assessment and portfolio management
  • Strong business development and networking skills to identify opportunities and drive growth
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building with business owners, senior stakeholders and introducers
  • Ability to influence, challenge constructively and manage competing priorities
