Delivery Lead

Overview

In this role you will lead delivery of technology solutions for Health and Public Service clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable designs. You will work within Accenture’s technology practice to support transformation and scale client capabilities, leveraging cloud, SaaS and DevOps practices. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge tech and a path to building senior delivery leadership within a global network. You will operate in a dynamic, outcome-focused environment with opportunities to influence projects and client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, project managers, business analysts, SMEs and developers to design and deliver solutions
• Lead and/or mentor team members and coordinate junior resources
• Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and delivery
• Adapt to new clients or technologies and apply appropriate delivery methodologies
• Participate across the delivery lifecycle in roles such as project/programme management, design, development, or QA
• Leverage experience on Cloud or SaaS solutions and use delivery tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
• Utilize data analysis to inform system design and decision making
• Translate business needs into actionable design documentation and stakeholder communications
• Develop strong relationships with external clients/customers
• Demonstrate understanding of architecture principles, integration patterns and secure design
• Apply DevOps tooling and multi-cloud concepts where relevant
• Operate in agile environments and adjust processes to project needs
• Contribute to a highly regulated industry context (health/public sector) as needed
• Maintain focus on delivering value and alignment with client goals

Key requirements

• Understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
• 2–3 years in delivery lifecycle roles (project/programme management, design, development, or QA) with cloud or SaaS focus
• Experience with delivery and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel)
• Experience with AI tooling and agentic tech (Copilot, Anthropic Claude, AWS Q) in delivery contexts
• Ability to translate business needs into design and documentation for stakeholders
• Experience building external client relationships
• Knowledge of secure system design and software architecture basics
• DevOps tooling experience (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience working in an agile environment
