Overview
As a Display Artist at URBN, you will shape high-visual-impact environments that blend artistry with commercial sense. You’ll work with the Visual Merchandising Manager to translate brand direction into captivating floor sets, using thoughtful materials and craftsmanship. You’ll manage seasonal budgets and ensure displays remain cost-effective while elevating the customer experience. This role combines creative exploration with hands-on execution and mentorship of store teams, in a dynamic, cross-functional setting.

Responsibilities
- Translate brand direction into artistic, market-ready floor sets that boost sales
- Utilise seasonal inspiration to develop unique display concepts rooted in customer and store context
- Maintain high craftsmanship in windows and in-store displays
- Seek external inspiration and contribute original perspectives to the display concept
- Mentor retail teams on visual standards and materials handling
- Identify and grow team members for display projects and seasonal setups
- Attend daily briefings and store walkthroughs to align with performance and Head Office updates
- Collaborate with VMM and Store Manager for timely, innovative project execution
- Efficiently manage display materials, including recycled elements, and uphold safety and organization
- Support sales by reflecting customer lifestyle in product presentation; manage display budgets and expense reporting
- Plan and prioritise projects to safeguard customer experience during display execution
Key requirements
- Strong artistic background (fine arts, design or architectural)
- Ability to transform ideas into working display solutions
- Artwork, painting, paper hanging and carpentry skills
- Excellent construction craftsmanship with 3D work experience
- Effective communication and strong organizational skills
- Experience with power tools (advantage)
- Professional portfolio (if applicable)
