Overview
In this role you will support and optimise building management systems to improve energy performance across multiple sites in London and the South East. You will work within the BMS Support team to perform planned maintenance, handle upgrades, and resolve site issues, contributing to SSE’s sustainability agenda. You will engage with customers and external providers, delivering practical technical guidance and reporting on your activities. Responsibilities
- Carry out BMS pre-planned maintenance, small upgrades and additional works
- Respond to and resolve reactive breakdowns, including out-of-hours standby
- Identify system improvements and software/upgrades to enhance energy performance
- Provide detailed reports based on on-site activities
- Collaborate with customers and external service providers to ensure service excellence
Key requirements
- Good technical experience in Siemens, Trend, Distech or Tridium BEMS/HVAC Building Controls
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders
- Strong customer service orientation and professional approach to providing technical support
- Agile working approach with flexibility for on-call rota
- Full driving licence for site travel
