As Senior Product Manager for Automotive at Zopa, you own the end-to-end product roadmap for dealer and broker experiences, pricing, and decisioning to drive sustainable growth. You collaborate with Sales, Credit Risk, and Technology to turn insights into practical product decisions. You shape how Automotive scales while balancing growth, margin, and customer outcomes. Your work translates market developments into value for lenders, dealers, and customers.

Responsibilities
- Own the Automotive product roadmap and make trade-offs across growth, margin, loss rates, customer outcomes and partner needs
- Collaborate with Sales and Credit Risk on dealer strategy, rate cards, decisioning and commercial choices
- Engage with dealers, brokers and intermediaries to understand barriers and convert insights into product decisions
- Use data to investigate performance, test hypotheses and build simple commercial models
- Create business cases and committee papers to align senior stakeholders
- Partner with Technology to define, sequence and deliver changes
- Improve operational journeys to reduce avoidable cost, friction and complaints
- Spot market developments and translate them into practical opportunities for Zopa
Key requirements
- Owned commercial outcomes in a product, lending or regulated environment and understand levers
- Ability to balance volume, profit margin, cost, loss rates and customer outcomes
- Comfort deriving insights from raw data and framing evidence-based recommendations
- Experience delivering technology changes through cross-functional teams
- Confident prioritisation with competing demands
- Influence without formal authority and drive ideas forward
- Strong written communication for senior audiences (business cases)
- Track record of customer or partner discovery and turning insight into action
- Experience with risk, compliance or legal involvement in decision-making in regulated contexts
