Responsibilities

• Lead the regional fire safety consultancy offer across the South West and Wales
• Act as technical lead on fire safety, building compliance and remediation
• Advise on fire legislation, Building Regulations, passive fire protection, compartmentation and Building Safety Act compliance
• Develop client relationships, secure new opportunities and lead bids or tenders
• Support major clients across public and private sector portfolios
• Build, mentor and develop a specialist fire and building safety team
• Oversee quality, governance, financial performance and resource planning

Key requirements

• Strong fire safety consultancy experience and technical knowledge
• Detailed understanding of fire risk, Building Regulations and fire safety legislation
• Ability to lead complex projects, manage clients and grow revenue
• Commercial awareness, leadership experience and project management skills
• Relevant degree and recognised accreditation or chartership (MRICS, MIFSM or IFE)
• Level 4 Fire Risk Assessor qualification and full UK driving licence
• Building Safety Act, Principal Designer, fire remediation, framework management, NEBOSH or IOSH experience would be useful
