In this Band 6 role, you will lead vocational support for service users with mental health challenges, helping them navigate work-related barriers and builds tailored return-to-work plans. You join a county-wide Mental Health Employment Service within Community Mental Health Teams to deliver specialist assessments, planning, and employer engagement. Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of service users with complex mental health needs, delivering recovery-focused vocational interventions
Key requirements
- A degree or equivalent in social work, occupational therapy, or psychiatric nursing
- Professional registration to practice in the UK
- Experience in employment-related programmes including assessment, placement and support
- Experience with people with severe mental health issues at band 5 level or equivalent
- Mental health risk assessment and management
- Ability to work with a range of service providers
