Overview

In this Mechanical Design Engineer role you will join a Yorkshire-based building services team to design and deliver mechanical services from feasibility through detailed design. You will work in a multidisciplinary setting, coordinating with other design disciplines and attending client meetings to ensure compliant, robust solutions. The role includes mentoring junior engineers and contributing to project reviews and technical assessments. Responsibilities

• Producing mechanical building services designs
• Carrying out surveys, calculations and technical assessments
• Coordinating with other design disciplines
• Attending client and project meetings
• Reviewing designs and technical submissions
• Mentoring junior engineers
• Ensuring compliance with current regulations and standards

Key requirements

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Experience in mechanical building services design
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
