Overview

In this role you will contribute to QuantumBlack Labs and Robotics and Physical AI, building physics-informed AI for industrial-scale applications. You will lead multi-physics simulations, digital twins, and surrogate models, translating computational insights into strategic client solutions. You will collaborate across global teams to shape scalable technology that accelerates design and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

  • Lead technical workstreams on client engagements
  • Develop multi-physics simulation frameworks and digital twins
  • Build surrogate and machine learning models
  • Apply physics-informed ML to real-world engineering systems
  • Deploy production-grade tools on HPC infrastructure
  • Translate computational insights into strategic client recommendations
  • Collaborate with global, multidisciplinary teams
  • Write optimized code to enhance internal tools
  • Contribute to the broader physical AI community through papers and conferences

Key requirements

  • Advanced graduate degree in a related field
  • Proven ability to develop high-quality engineering or scientific code (Python, C++)
  • Fluency with statistical sampling, ML and data science techniques
  • Simulation experience; PyTorch, ML/AI/Data Science a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Data-driven decision-making ability
  • Effective written and verbal communication in English and local languages
  • Willingness to travel and work in varied environments
