Responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of primary care services in a team-based setting
- Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations
- Check and sign repeat prescriptions; manage queries and correspondence
- Develop care plans and disease management in collaboration with patients
- Maintain accurate records using EMIS; complete medical reports
- Support training and education of clinical staff
- Prescribe according to guidelines; align with local pathways
- Participate in audits, data collection, and clinical pathway improvements
- Engage in new projects (e.g., video-linked consultations) as needed
Key requirements
- GMC GP registration
- MRCGP or equivalent; CCT
- Experience in general practice; ability to manage emergencies
- Ability to refer appropriately and work within NHS clinical environment
- UK registration and continued professional development
