Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end software delivery for high-profile life sciences clients, shaping architecture and platforms from design to cloud deployment. You’ll drive global pharma-related projects, working with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into scalable digital solutions. You will steer modernization, AI-enabled features, and robust operations to meet stringent SLAs. This is a hands-on leadership position with a strong focus on enterprise impact and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Pharma & Enterprise Delivery: act as primary technical architect for global accounts in EMEA and APAC, delivering solutions for top-tier brands.
  • System Architecture & Design: produce HLD/LLD documentation and define API contracts for complex platforms.
  • Full-Stack Software Engineering: build/maintain scalable web apps with PHP (Laravel, Drupal, WordPress), JS/TS (React, Vue.js, Next.js), and Python.
  • Modernization & Migrations: lead migration from legacy monoliths to headless/decoupled architectures and cloud moves (Azure).
  • AI & RAG Integration: prototype intelligent features using generative AI models via agentic frameworks and vector retrieval.
  • Performance & SLA Optimization: troubleshoot production issues quickly, maintain 99% uptime, optimize load and costs.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: set up automated pipelines with GitHub Actions, Docker, and cloud infra (AWS, Azure, Vercel).
  • Stakeholder Management: align product managers and executives with technical deliverables for enterprise clients.

Key requirements

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in engineering leadership for enterprise/life sciences environments.
  • Strong track record in architecture, design, and hands-on delivery of digital platforms for large pharma/Life Sciences clients.
  • Experience with cloud migrations (Azure) and modern headless architectures.
  • Proficiency in multiple tech stacks including PHP, JS/TS, Python, and related frameworks.
