As a Senior Software Engineer in the Agentic AI team, you design, build and scale enterprise-grade AI services and orchestration for Lloyds Banking Group. You work with engineers, architects and product teams to deliver secure, scalable AI-powered capabilities that support diverse business use cases. You’ll shape platform architectures, drive production-grade delivery and push for innovation with emerging AI tech. Responsibilities

• Design and evolve platform and system architectures for agentic AI services and orchestration capabilities
• Develop and deliver production-grade software and cloud-native infrastructure
• Build AI-powered services, agentic workflows and platform capabilities to enable adoption
• Partner with engineers, architects and product teams to accelerate delivery of AI-enabled solutions
• Contribute to engineering standards, software lifecycle practices and technical strategy
• Drive innovation through experimentation and adoption of emerging AI technologies

Key requirements

• Strong Python software engineering skills with experience delivering secure, scalable, production-grade applications and services
• Experience designing and delivering Agentic AI solutions (agentic workflows, tool integration, orchestration patterns, multi-agent architectures)
• Experience designing and implementing scalable cloud-native systems, platforms and services
• Solid software engineering practices including testing, CI/CD and lifecycle management
• Strong critical thinking to analyze complex technical challenges and propose practical solutions
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, architecture and product teams
