Quantity Surveyor (Warwick)

Overview

In this role, you will manage the commercial aspects of multiple residential developments for a leading PLC housebuilder in the West Midlands. You’ll work across site and office settings to drive cost control, procurement, and profitability, supporting live projects from Warwickshire to Birmingham. You’ll collaborate with site teams, subcontractors and senior management to keep schemes on track. Responsibilities

• Subcontractor procurement and package management
• Preparing and managing valuations
• Cost reporting and budget control
• Forecasting project costs and cash flow
• Managing variations and change control
• Preparing and agreeing final accounts
• Monitoring project profitability and commercial performance
• Liaising with site teams, subcontractors and senior management
• Conducting regular site visits across the West Midlands region

Key requirements

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the housebuilding sector
• Degree, HND or HNC in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline
• Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts and procurement processes
• Ability to travel for site visits across West Midlands
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• CSCS card (beneficial but not essential)
