As Head of Content Strategy and Organic Growth, you will own and shape the brand’s SEO and GEO approach across markets, guiding content and discovery to drive meaningful business outcomes. You’ll work closely with Content, Product, Markets, PR, and external agencies to ensure trusted, high‑quality medical content and compelling experiences. You’ll identify growth opportunities, balance traffic with lead generation, and lead multi‑disciplinary campaigns that convert. Responsibilities

  • Own the brand’s content strategy and roadmap across markets (UK primary) aligned to commercial priorities
  • Influence and support the content team to deliver high‑quality, conversion‑oriented content with strong information hierarchy
  • Partner with content and clinical teams to produce E‑E‑A‑T compliant medical content that builds trust
  • Identify and prioritise content and organic growth opportunities using market, competitor and search-demand insights
  • Prioritise content that drives leads/orders vs. generic traffic
  • Support new service launches with demand capture plans across the customer journey
  • Plan and lead digital PR and content marketing campaigns end‑to‑end
  • Manage content freelancers, in‑house team, and/or agencies for consistency and brand alignment
  • Hands‑on CMS work; collaborate with Product to improve CMS/editor experience
  • Build clear performance reporting linking content and organic growth to business outcomes
  • Collaborate with Product, Medical/Clinical, Engineering, UX, Brand and Marketing on proposition, product development, launch and optimisation
  • Develop and execute an integrated SEO and organic growth strategy spanning technical SEO, content, digital PR, service/product discovery and AI search optimisation (GEO)
  • Develop AI search strategy (GEO) to surface and recommend content across AI experiences
  • Create scalable SEO/GEO frameworks/templates for multi‑market adaptation
  • Monitor competitors and SERP changes to identify opportunities or risks
  • Act as the organic content and growth SME across the brand, educating stakeholders
  • Collaborate on broader marketing projects and campaigns to align activity

Key requirements

  • circa 4+ years’ experience leading content strategy for a commercial website
  • Excellent editorial judgement and ability to shape and brief content to a high standard
  • Proven experience running digital PR / content marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of search intent, keyword research, information architecture, optimization and performance analysis
  • Experience managing large-scale content strategies with a focus on business value (leads/orders)
  • Experience managing content freelancers/teams/agencies
  • Hands‑on CMS experience; collaboration with Product to improve CMS/editor experience
  • Comfortable presenting performance reports to non‑specialist stakeholders
  • Excellent communicator with senior stakeholders across Medical, Product, Brand and Marketing
  • Organised, able to work across multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • circa 4+ years in SEO and working knowledge of technical SEO (crawling, indexation, site architecture, redirects, schema.org, hreflang, sitemaps)
  • Ability to build strategic SEO/GEO recommendations from scratch and implement with product teams
  • Understanding of other acquisition channels, especially Content and PPC
  • Proficiency in web analytics and SEO tools (Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush, Screaming Frog, Looker/BI)
