In this role you will help lead a Belfast-based banking and finance team within a top law practice. You will advise on a broad range of finance matters, from acquisition and asset finance to regulatory advisory work, across industries and cross-border work where relevant. The position emphasizes leadership, strategic growth, and the ability to manage complex matters with autonomy while guiding the team. Responsibilities

• Lead and support the expansion of the banking and finance team
• Advise on acquisition, asset and real estate finance
• Handle financial services regulation and general advisory matters
• Counsel lender and borrower across multiple sectors, NI-focused with some cross-border work

Key requirements

• Qualified solicitor in Northern Ireland
• Minimum 7 years PQE (exceptional candidates considered)
• Commercial mindset with strong technical prowess
