International Fund Finance Analyst

Overview

In this role, you will join Wells Fargo’s Fund Finance Group to support complex fund financing transactions for leading sponsors and asset managers. You will work on originating, structuring, executing, and managing fund finance deals alongside experienced bankers and risk professionals. Your work will impact transaction structuring, credit underwriting, and client coverage while contributing to the growth of the Fund Finance platform. This role offers close collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth credit analysis of limited partners, investment funds, sponsors, and portfolio companies
• Review fund and financing documentation (LPAs, PPMs, facility agreements) to support structuring and underwriting
• Prepare detailed credit memoranda and participate in credit approvals
• Develop client presentations, pitch materials, and strategic analyses with senior bankers
• Support end-to-end execution of fund finance transactions, coordinating with Credit, Legal, Syndications, Treasury, Operations, Agency, and KYC teams
• Assist with relationship management for a portfolio of financial sponsors and asset managers
• Support portfolio management activities including borrowing base analysis, covenant monitoring, compliance reporting, and risk assessment
• Contribute to portfolio analytics and strategic initiatives across the Fund Finance business
• Collaborate with partners across Financial Sponsors Coverage, FIG, Risk Solutions, CRE, and Structured Products to deliver comprehensive coverage

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, including experience analysing financial statements
• Excellent attention to detail and strong personal accountability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
