Procurement Lawyer 3+

Overview

In this role you will advise on a broad range of procurement matters for public sector and private clients, with focus on health, local government, emergency services and social housing sectors. You will handle complex procurements, draft diverse contracts, and support end-to-end procurement projects from design to implementation. You will collaborate with the team to deliver cradle-to-grave procurement solutions and training. This is an opportunity to shape major local authority projects and outsourcing initiatives in a leading City firm.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex procurements for public sector and private clients, including health, local government, emergency services and social housing sectors
• Draft and negotiate procurement and commercial contracts (services, goods, framework agreements, concession contracts, grants, collaboration agreements)
• Contribute to cradle-to-grave procurement matters (design, drafting, delivering training, ongoing support)
• Support large local authority projects and outsourcing initiatives

Key requirements

• Solid understanding of Public Contracts Regulations 2015, the Procurement Act 2023, Procurement Regulations 2024 and the Provider Selection Regime
• Solid experience in drafting procurement and commercial contracts
