Overview
In this role you will manage a dedicated Court of Protection (finance) caseload for individuals lacking capacity, supporting families and deputies. You will work within a national, growth-focused team that leverages automation to free time for high-quality client contact. The position offers a long-term, specialist pathway in COP finance with a strong wellbeing and hybrid-working culture. You will shape decisions that protect clients’ interests while developing enduring professional relationships.

Responsibilities
- Manage COP finance and property caseloads for individuals without capacity
- Collaborate with families, deputies and professional representatives
- Develop and maintain long-standing client relationships based on trust
- Ensure financial decisions comply with legal requirements and best interests principles
- Operate in a specialist COP finance remit with minimal mixed workload
- Contribute to a highly organized department that supports efficient case handling
Key requirements
- Experienced in COP finance work or Private Client solicitor transitioning to COP
- Confident in managing own caseload with minimal supervision
