Principal Engineer – Installation and Projects

Overview

As Principal Installation Engineer, you will lead installation activities for subsea structures and related systems within the Installation and Project Engineering discipline of the Global Project Centre. You will represent the discipline on tenders and projects, ensuring technical challenges are addressed and discipline expertise is maintained and expanded. You will guide offshore crews, manage interfaces with clients, suppliers and design teams, and own technical areas of installation. You will drive packages from tender through project delivery within budget and schedule, while upholding HSEQ criteria and corporate standards. Responsibilities

• Lead installation work packages on Tender, FEED or Project
• Deliver scopes within budget, quality, and timeframe
• Manage technical and commercial scope changes
• Lead a team of engineers and mentor their development
• Serve as technical point of contact for installation subject matter
• Lead engineering activities for preparation and installation of products
• Validate concepts and manage changes with HSEQ criteria
• Own and develop a technical area and contribute to standards/guidelines

Key requirements

• Experience in subsea structures installation and related systems
• Experience with tenders and projects
• Operational offshore experience
• Contractual/project management experience
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate workloads
• Fluent in English
• High level of safety and quality awareness
