Overview
As Production Manager in Glasgow, you will lead a high-performing manufacturing cell, safeguarding safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement, while developing and supporting a skilled team. The role focuses on planning, performance monitoring, and Lean-driven improvements within Thales’ manufacturing environment, contributing to secure, world-class solutions.

Responsibilities
- Champion a strong safety culture and lead HSE activities (risk assessments, PPE compliance, training, health surveillance).
- Own quality control and ensure processes meet Thales standards (Chorus); collaborate across functions to drive CI.
- Plan and deliver work schedules aligned to Master Production Schedule and customer requirements; monitor daily KPIs and drive performance improvements.
- Promote Lean principles and a culture of continuous improvement; escalate and resolve production issues with corrective actions.
- Lead, coach, and develop the team; support training, cross-skilling, and workforce planning; manage performance, absence, and shift planning; foster an inclusive Thales culture (EDI); assist recruitment and onboarding.
