Overview

As Internal Communications Manager, Group Content, you will shape global internal messaging to mobilise Rolls-Royce employees around the One Rolls-Royce vision. You will lead end-to-end content creation and campaign development across multi-channel platforms, ensuring engaging storytelling for 40,000+ colleagues in 50+ countries. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into compelling content and manage delivery across internal channels. The role sits at the heart of a high-performance culture and a multi-national transformation programme. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to elevate content quality and impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of strategic corporate content for the global internal audience.
  • Create and manage digital content across intranet, Viva Engage, digital screens and company-wide email.
  • Own content for key strategic campaigns as directed by the SVP Internal Communications.
  • Advise on and execute tactics to reach key audiences across internal channels.
  • Manage an internal corporate content calendar aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Build and maintain internal and external networks to bring best practices to content creation.
  • Implement the internal corporate content campaign strategy and measure impact.
  • Collaborate with divisions and corporate teams to schedule and tailor content for diverse audiences.

Key requirements

  • Extensive experience in communications, marketing or content creation within a large multinational FTSE 100 company or equivalent.
  • Strong storytelling aligned with commercial and cultural objectives.
  • Excellent writing; ability to produce engaging video/audio content.
  • Proven track record in content development (internal or external).
  • Curious, fast learner with interest in engineering, aerospace or technology sectors.
  • Comfortable with strategic challenge and setting the agenda when needed.
  • Excellent relationship builder with senior and junior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative across a matrixed organisation; able to manage agencies to time and budget.
