Overview

As a Senior Data Governance Analyst, you will translate governance priorities into actionable reporting, tooling, and delivery plans to support the Data Governance roadmap. You’ll serve as a senior analyst, product owner, and delivery lead, collaborating with business and technical teams to implement governance capabilities at scale. You will drive governance reporting, dashboards, KPI tracking, and stakeholder communications to demonstrate progress and impact. This role sits at the heart of enabling reliable data to support assurance activities and strategic decisions. Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain governance reporting, dashboards and performance measures for assurance activities
  • Gather, document and manage business, reporting and tooling requirements, translating priorities into deliverables
  • Develop and maintain governance tooling backlogs with engineers and data teams
  • Support design, implementation and continuous improvement of governance processes and reporting capabilities
  • Support assurance activities via KPI monitoring, evidence collection and reporting
  • Drive Data Governance roadmap delivery through backlog management and progress reporting
  • Collaborate with Principal Data Governance Manager to translate priorities into plans and outcomes
  • Prepare governance communications, presentations and stakeholder updates
  • Identify opportunities to standardise, automate and improve governance reporting, tooling and processes

Key requirements

  • Independent management of governance reporting, requirements and delivery support
  • Ability to translate priorities into deliverable requirements and implementation activities
  • Capacity to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
  • Strong collaboration with business and technical stakeholders on governance initiatives
  • Relationships across Information Architecture, Data and Technology teams
  • Data-driven insight and reporting to support governance discussions and decisions
