Billing Analyst

Overview

In this Billing Analyst role, you will interpret contract terms with a focus on product and pricing accuracy and ensure contract data is correctly implemented for timely billing. You will work closely with Billing Operations, Sales Ops, Legal, and Finance to support accurate financial closing and improve contract-to-billing processes. You’ll analyze data, resolve issues, and provide insights to drive customer satisfaction and financial performance. This position offers a chance to influence how contracts translate into reliable billing outcomes within a collaborative, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret complex contract language with emphasis on product and pricing accuracy
• Implement and maintain contract details in internal systems to support accurate and timely billing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Billing Operations, Sales Ops, Account Boarding, Legal, Finance)
• Support process improvements and provide insights into contract-to-billing workflows
• Manage case queues involving contract setups, cancellations, amendments, and custom requests
• Handle customer queries, escalations, and issue resolution with root cause analysis and trend reporting
• Contribute to monthly financial closing processes and NPS performance
• Prepare and present data-driven reports to track progress and identify optimization opportunities

Key requirements

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret complex contracts and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Financial systems knowledge such as Oracle
• Self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
