Overview

In this role you will translate complex data problems into actionable insights for product desks and business partners. You’ll build tools that enhance transparency and accessibility to support decision-making in Citi Markets. You will partner with technology and business stakeholders to improve data quality, optimise processes and drive capital initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Provide data-driven analysis and insights to product desks and key business partners to support informed decision-making
  • Perform strategic data analysis to identify trends and implications, translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Analyse data across multiple platforms/sources to identify optimisation opportunities and improve data quality
  • Collaborate with users/customers to assess and resolve complex system/process issues and recommend solutions
  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders and Technology to communicate requirements and challenges
  • Demonstrate strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills across teams
  • Mentor and technically lead Associate/Analyst-level quantitative professionals, conducting code reviews and guiding methodology

Key requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience in data analytics with large and complex datasets, preferably in Financial Markets
  • Proven ability to analyse business requirements and resolve complex data issues
  • Advanced SQL and Python skills; other languages advantageous
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and mathematical abilities
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, and accuracy-focused
  • Collaborative across teams and able to grasp new concepts quickly
  • Undergraduate degree or higher in a numerate/quantitative discipline
