Overview

In this Data Analyst role within Avanade’s Data & AI practice, you translate business problems into data, analytics, and AI use cases that deliver measurable outcomes. You’ll shape data-driven products and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure clear scope, success metrics, and practical roadmaps. You’ll work with data engineers, architects, and AI specialists to translate requirements into deliverable data models and transformations. Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand business problems and translate them into data, analytics, and AI use cases
• Define scope, success measures, roadmaps, and requirements for data-driven solutions
• Analyze source systems, APIs, and data feeds for quality and suitability for analytics/AI use cases
• Design analytics-focused data models, including dimensional models and star schemas
• Produce source-to-target mappings, business rules, and transformation logic for data engineering and analytics delivery
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and AI specialists to ensure requirements are understood and delivered
• Engage with business and technology stakeholders as a trusted translator between worlds
• Support evolution of data products over time with feedback and changing business needs
