Overview
In this Procurement Manager role, you will shape category strategies for Marketing and Corporate Services and lead cross-functional partnerships to maximise value and mitigate risk. You’ll work with senior stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives at a fast-paced online retailer. You’ll manage complex sourcing, drive cost savings, and foster supplier innovation. This role offers impact across global spend and a chance to influence how ASOS purchases support growth and delivery.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies for Marketing and Corporate Services to optimise spend and outcomes
- Autonomously manage a diverse pipeline of strategic, high-value procurement projects
- Prioritise activities across multiple concurrent projects aligned to business priorities
- Build and lead relationships with stakeholders up to Executive and C-suite, providing commercial leadership
- Act as subject matter expert on market trends, supplier capabilities, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to drive value, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Identify and deliver savings, cost avoidance, and business impact, reporting outcomes
- Implement pragmatic sourcing strategies aligned to business needs, risk, complexity, and stakeholder capacity
- Manage supplier and commercial risk with appropriate mitigation strategies
- Support supplier performance management to ensure contractual obligations and service levels are met
- Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies within the procurement function
Key requirements
- Experience in a fast-paced procurement environment with ability to autonomously manage and prioritise high-volume workload
- Strong category management across Marketing and Corporate Services (agency, media, creative, professional services, people services, facilities, business support)
- Ability to apply appropriate procurement rigour based on project complexity, value, risk, and stakeholder needs
- Proven track record in developing and executing category strategies delivering value, efficiency, innovation, and risk mitigation
- Experience leading complex sourcing events and negotiations from strategy to contract in tight timelines
- Solid understanding of procurement systems, governance, policies, and processes with CI mindset
- Adaptability in a dynamic business environment with quick reprioritisation
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and communication skills
