The Old Fire Station Surgery, BeverleyLead Practice Nurse – 30 hours per week to full time – Monday to Friday(Successful candidate will be required to work until 6pm three days a week)


We have an exciting opportunity to welcome an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Nurse with excellent clinical skills and a General Practice background to lead our nursing team of 6 Nurses/Health Care Assistants.


The practice is located in the centre of the historic town of Beverley a 5 minute walk from the shops and local amenities, both the train and bus station in walking distance.


Our upgraded premises is partner owned which allows us to provide a full range of traditional and innovative services, including community dermatology, phototherapy, specialist respiratory services and are piloting an ENT service in the practice. We support a wide range of teaching, serving a growing patient base of over 11,000.


We are offering a position to join our long-established, independent, stable, friendly and traditional 7 doctor surgery at the heart of Beverley, East Yorkshire. We place emphasis on practising good medicine, creating a well-managed workload and making work an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. The positive culture of the practice runs through the highly experienced and dedicated team.

  • Ability to work effectively with the Practice Manager, GP Partners and wider multidisciplinary team.

  • Good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, confidentiality and information governance.

  • Commitment to maintaining professional development and keeping up to date with changes in General Practice.

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the practice. Available to provide clinical support until 6pm 3 days a week.

  • Positive approach to team working and service development.
