We are recruiting for a Claims Adjuster, CommercialD&O and Transactional Liability on behalf of an extremelywell-regarded London Market Insurer.

The successful candidate willevaluate and processclaims accurately, as well as use analytics and insights to drive continuousimprovement in the use of TPAs and third-party experts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigatingand resolving a range of claims of a specialist nature.
  • Supporting data analysis and reporting to help monitor claims performance.
  • Managingestimates and billings calculated by clients and brokers to resolvediscrepancies.
  • Identifyingsubrogation, contribution and other recovery issues.
  • Supporting the management of disputed or material claims issues.
  • Ensuringclaims files are compiled and maintained in a logical and accessiblemanner and that items are clearly documented at all times.
  • Supportingthe development of relationships with internal and external customers.

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years’ technical claims handling experience within a claims function.
  • Good understanding of delegated and third-party claims management.
  • Experience of working within a claims environment, ideally with exposure to specialised or complex claims.
  • Recognisedqualification(s) and/or good practical knowledge of the insuranceregulatory framework.
  • Relevant commercial experience within the general insurance industry, with an understanding of claims trends.
  • Proficientin MS Office applications; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ableto produce MI and detailed reports at various levels.
