What will the Management Accountant role involve?
- Managing your own portfolio of clients and acting as a trusted finance partner
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts with meaningful analysis and commentary
- Producing budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections to support business decision-making
- Supporting clients with cloud accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
- Reviewing financial processes and identifying efficiencies and improvements
- Delivering insightful financial information and practical commercial advice
- Assisting with KPI reporting and outsourced finance support services
- Building strong client relationships and becoming a valued extension of their business
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
- Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Strong management accounts and client-facing experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Looking to develop into a leadership or management position in the near future
