We’re looking for a proactive Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability and performance of production equipment, helping to minimise downtime and keep operations running efficiently.
This is a great opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment where you’ll be involved in fault finding, breakdown response and planned preventative maintenance across a wide range of production machinery.

The Role
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across production equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve both electrical and mechanical faults.
- Support the delivery of preventative maintenance programmes.
- Work with production teams to minimise downtime and improve machine performance.
- Assist with continuous improvement activities and equipment upgrades.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within a Maintenance Engineer or Multi Skilled Engineer position.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on production or manufacturing equipment.
- Understanding of PLC-controlled machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Desirable
- Previous experience within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
- Experience working a rotating shift pattern.
