Job Description:

Property Maintenance Engineer Location: Field Based covering – Midlands Region, including Birmingham, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Property Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance tasks across various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general repairs & maintenance, across our estate of dental practices. This role will include daily travelling and occasional overnight stays, you must have a full & clean UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on plant and machinery.
  • Identify and rectify potential issues before they escape.
  • Implement a proactive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.

Reactive Maintenance

  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Efficiently repair and restore equipment to full operational capacity.

Fault Finding

  • Use diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint the root cause of equipment malfunctions.
  • Implement effective solutions to prevent recurring problems.

Installation and Commissioning

  • Install new equipment and machinery.
  • Configure and test systems to ensure optimal performance.

Compliance

  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and efficiency
  • Propose innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.
