Overview of the NQ Dispute Resolution Solicitor role
We are currently partnered with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Worcester who are looking for a talented NQ Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor with experience in civil and commercial dispute resolution to develop and strengthen their litigation expertise within a supportive and collaborative team.
You will work alongside experienced practitioners and advise both individual and business clients across a broad and varied caseload. The role offers quality work, genuine career progression and the opportunity to build strong, lasting client relationships.
Key responsibilities of the NQ Dispute Resolution Solicitor will include
- Advising individual and business clients on a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters
- Managing disputes including private nuisance claims, easement and rights of way disputes, boundary disputes and Party Wall Act matters
- Handling TOLATA claims, defamation claims, professional negligence disputes and general civil litigation
- Managing matters from initial instruction through to resolution
- Providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice to clients
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm
- Supporting business development initiatives and developing client and referrer relationships
- Maintaining high standards of client care throughout the client journey
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory, quality and accounting requirements
Required experience for the NQ Dispute Resolution Solicitor position will include
- Qualified solicitor with pre- or post-qualification experience in civil and commercial dispute resolution
- Strong interest in developing a career within litigation and dispute resolution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to use initiative
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines
- Genuine commitment to delivering excellent client service
- Interest in business development and building professional relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
